A Virtuous Woman

On a recent episode of The Millionaire Matchmaker, Patti Stanger enlists the help of relationship expert Dr. Pat Allen to get to the bottom of why William, a successful entrepreneur, can't seem to find love.

He tells her he wants a girl who makes him pursue her.

Dr. Allen tells him, "All she's got to do is keep her legs crossed. You've been had by women who've been trained to seduce you because you got a couple of bucks in the bank." (wow, I went to the wrong school - more on this later.)

He admits that after he has sex with a woman, he loses interest.

"A woman who passes the test of virtue, you can take home to your mom," Allen tells William. "Men fall in love with virtue not vaginas."

Interesting...Do you agree?

Check out the video below and let me know your thoughts.

Hmmm...for some men yes. They want to date the wild vixen who is good in the bed, but they want to marry the woman who can truly wear white at their wedding. Double standard. I don't think this is the case for all men, though.

I agree with Tndrhrt. It is a double standard. Notice he said he lost interest AFTER she gave it up. If he wants a virtuous woman, than keep his pants on. If he is going to quote the bible, then he needs to read the story of Ruth and Boaz. Even with her laying at the foot of his bed, unseen in the dark, he told her no because he wanted to do their relationship the right way.

Why is a man to assume a woman is "virtuous" simply because she "keeps her legs crossed" with him? Is he to assume that, just because she won't have sex with him quickly, she didn't have sex with other men quickly?

I don't know one man who will make that assumption.
